Where do Inspection Stamps come from?
Do you ever wonder where those small little stickers with numbers such as 5 or with words such as inspected by 17564, that you find on the inside of your shirt or jeans really comes from? These little pieces of paper you can find on all of the clothing items you purchase are placed their by inspectors at the manufacturing company that created the clothing.
This small piece of paper was created with an inspection stamp. Inspection stamps are not only used for clothing, but for almost every consumer product. You can find an inspection stamp on all kinds of materials from wood to metal, which is placed there to let you know the item was inspected after its creation prior to shipping to the store in which you purchased it.
After each product is created, it is sent to an inspector that checks over the product to ensure quality and that all parts are working properly such as buttons or zippers on clothing, knobs or doors on cabinets, and buttons and switches on electronic products. If the item passes the inspection it will be stamped with the inspection stamp and sent on its way; if it is rejected for any reason it will be stamped rejected and sent to the proper place.
However, this does not really say, where these inspection stamps come from, this just lets you know how they wound up in your possession.
Inspection stamps are created by stamp manufactures that make a variety of hand stamps, machines, and other things to make your life easier. Industries and companies order inspection stamps designed to their specifications so they can provide an inspection stamp on the products they create.
The best quality inspection stamps along with a variety of other stamps such as signature stamps, signs, luggage tags, and more are also created by stamp companies. Each one of these items is designed to help make items that are convenient and give us more time away from doing mundane tasks.
