A
Special Note From Bryan:
Ever
wondered
what
you
can
do
to
help
with
the
war
in
Iraq? Well
we
have
an
answer. Please
read
the
Email
from
Ed
Sullivan,
Father
of
my cousin
Lt
Will
Sullivan
currently
serving
our
country
in
Iraq.
Today,
I
got
a
phone
call
from
Will. He
called
around
10am,
which
is
about
6pm
his
time
He
was
using
his
new
Baghdad
cell
phone. I
tried
to
conference
Clare
in,
but
it
did
not
work, maybe
next
time.
Here
is
what
we
talked
about:
Care
packages, He
says
thanks, he
loves
getting
them. He
gets
them
every
day
now. He
just
wishes
his
men
would
get
some. I
told
him
to
wait
a
week
or
so.,
because
thanks
to
his
last
email,
they
are
coming
also.
I
got
the
feeling
that
he
is
getting
ribbed
from
his
men
about
so
much
mail. But
he
said
he
is
sharing
everything.
He
like
the
pictures
that
he
gets.
He
does
not
have
much
access
to
the
INTERNET
except
at
TAJI
and
he
is
only
at
Taji
about
once
a
week,
but
when
he
is
there
he
is
busy
re
supplying
his
platoon.
He
said
he
is
getting
mail
from
several
grade
school
classes. Mrs.
Baxter;s
class
from
OLA
(his
grade
school
teacher).
Mrs.
Schefstad
class
(West
Point
mom),
Sally
Barnet
Pickren's
class
(Kären's
HS
friend)
He
loves
the
mail. If
you
can
please
send
pictures
also… Aunt
Candy
he
enjoyed
your
pictures
of
your
trip
to
Kings
Point
and
back
As
I
mentioned
earlier,he
does
not
get
access
to
e-mail
that
often. Go
ahead
and
send
him
SNAIL
mail
with
pictures.
Today,
I
printed
off
my
emails
to
him
form
the
past
month,
and
will
mail
them
tomorrow.
He
does
not
know
what
to
do
with
the
dolls
he
gets,
Or
who
is
sending
them. I
told
him
to
give
them
to
the
local
kids. He
says
he
does,
but
once
you
see
one
kid
and
give
them
a
gift. All
of
a
sudden
you
have
100
kids
around
you. This
is
his
first
trip
to
a
3rd
world
country
(
Iraq
is
now
3rd
world)
so
he
does
not
realize
that
is
a
normal
response.
I
asked
him
what
else
he
needed,
what
was
his
living
quarters
like
and
what
his
routine
was.
1.
Routine
Will
explained
his
12
day
routine
like
this. We
spend
6
days
on
walk
around
patrols
or
missions. Walk
around patrols
may
happen
4-
5
times
a
day. Just
to
keep
our
self
known. Missions
are
handed
down,
we
go
out
looking
for
the
bad
guys
in
the
area.
After
6
days
of
this
we
get
one
day
off
to
rest,
Clean
up
and
re
supply.
At
the
end
of
2
of
these
6
day
weeks
we
take
2
days
off
and
go
to
TAJI
for
additional
supplies,
to
restock
and
relax.
But
he
said
it
was
actually
boring
in
TAJI.
2.
Living Quarters.
This
was
a
little
harder
for
me
to
understand.
But
here
is
what
I
think
he
said
He
and
his
men
live
next
to
a
big
warehouse
compound. The
warehouse
compound
is
big
computer
complex. His
house
has
4-5
rooms
with
about
40
army
cots
all
over. They
just
got
heat
2
days
ago. So
they
are
happy. He
says
it
is
his
home
and
his
men
like
it
much
better
than
TAJI. I
asked
him
about
food,
and
he
said
they
send
it
in
everyday.
So
they
are
eating
ok. On
the
2
day
break,
they
sleep
in
trailers
and
have
all
the
food
and
showers
they
want. I
did
not
ask
about
showers
or
laundry
at
the
house
3.
What else is needed.
He
wants
his
men
to
get
mail.
I
told
him
that
is
coming.
Just
wait.
He
would
like
used
books.
I
have
been
sending
him
some
of
my
old
books
that
were
best
sellers. He
said
he
prefers
NON-Fiction.
I
told
him
I
knew
that.
But
those
fiction
books
are
just
easy
reading
and
gets
your
mind
away
from
things. The
one
he
is
currently
reading
is
good
he
says.
So
if
possible
please
send
him
and
his
men
your
used books.
Fiction
and
NON
Fiction.
Will
likes
Historical
type
books.
And
as
Clare
has
mentioned
send "Magazines"
He
has
been
enjoying
reading
and
watching
DVD's.
Aunt
Connie,
he
says
he
is
hooked
on "24"
I
asked
about coffee ,
since
he
mentioned
that
in
TEXAS.
He
says
they
get
all
of
the
Maxwell
house
they
can
drink.
But
he
would
like
a
little
change
of
taste.
They
live
off
the
coffee.
So
if
you
have
a
supply
of
HOTEL
coffee
or
packs
a
Starbucks/Dunkin
donut
coffee
sitting
around
please
send
some
to
him.
NO
coffee
BEANS,
just
regular
ground
up
coffee.
Special
Request
Will says
he
would
like
some SOCCER balls
for
the
kids. He
would
like
to
get
them
all
at
once
so
he
and
his
men
have
enough
to
give
away. SO
Let's
do
a
SOCCER
ball
mailing.
Here
is what I suggest: Maybe
Soccer balls will go on sale
after Christmas. He
suggested that we send them DEFLATED
(FLAT).
So
if you want to, do your shopping
and get them in the Mail on January
5th IF we all mail on that date
he should get them around the
same time. If you have one of
his soldiers that you are mailing
stuff to. Then send the soccer
ball to that soldier.
We
are going to collect as many
Soccer Balls as possible over
the next 2 weeks and send them
over to Will to distribute.
Please
try to help out, drop them off
at our location or mail them
to me and I will package them
and send them to Iraq.
